How much does it cost?
We will attend your event for free if you have more than 100 people attending, we then take photos of your guests and they can view photos taken and purchase a print. 


Do you have any terms and conditions?

It is the responsibility of the event organiser to make guests/competitors/visitors aware that there will be a photographer attending the event and photographs will be published on

James Rudd Photography will assume all guests/competitors/visitors who attend the event are consenting to being photographed and allowing their photograph to be published on the internet.

Guests can of course ask that their photo does not appear on our website or ask to have their photo removed from the site.

James Rudd Photography own the copyright to all photos taken by us unless agreed otherwise. Prints and downloads are sold for display purposes only.

Ownership of a print or digital download does not constitute ownership of copyright or the right to reproduce or publish the image.


What kind of events do you cover?

School Proms, Graduation, Wedding Receptions, Fund Raisers, Parties, Anniversaries, Black tie, sports and many others.


How much space do you require? Where should it be located?

We need to set up our portable studio with background and lighting, plus a space for our mini lab and viewing stations, 5m x 5m would be fine for the photography and about 2m x 2m for our computers and printers.

If you are not sure you can provide this amount space then please contact us. As we rely entirely on sales, location is very important and we should be visible to your guests, in or as near to the function room as possible.


What equipment do you bring?

We bring a high-key or other kind of background as required, Elemental Trinity lighting, Canon dSLR wireless cameras, Apple Mac computers to view photos and a high quality Dye-Sublimation printer to print 9x6 inch full colour prints.


Are you insured?

Yes we are fully insured including public liability cover of £5 million.


What payments types do you accept for prints from our guests?

We accept cash, cheques (made payable to Meynell Redhouse Limited), credit and debit cards with our mobile 'chip and pin' terminal. 


I would like to give my a guests a free print to take home, can you do this?

Yes, it would require the event to be prepaid get in touch to arrange this.


How much does a photo cost?

Photos are taken for free with no obligation to buy a print, prints cost £10 each at the event or £12.50 (inclusive of postage/packing) from our website for a card mounted 6x9 glossy print.

If you prepay for your photos we can offer discounts on these prices.


I want to use you for a charity fund raising event, do you offer a discount on the print price?

Yes, subject to covering our costs we can make a donation of 10% of our sales on the evening.


Can you tell me a little more about the green screen photography?

Great for themed events, guests are photographed against a green backdrop, the image is then sent wirelessly to a computer and a new background is automatically dropped in to replace the green one, this can then be printed for guests to take home. We have a variety of backgrounds or you can supply your own (copyright permitting) in jpeg format. It is important to remember that guests should not wear green for this to work.


Can I order prints after my Event?

Yes, all photos will be uploaded to our site and can be found in the 'Private Gallery' section and can be password protected.

Towcester, Silverstone, Whittlebury, Brackley, Northampton, Buckingham, South Northamptonshire for functions with over 100 people attending.
